Join us Saturday, September 13th, for a special presentation celebrating the new VHS release from our friends at Video Arena, collecting 14 years of collaborative work from Chicago-based video duo Harrison Wyrick & Parker Davis. Harrison & Parker, The Definitive Collection Volume 1 is a two hour program collecting short video works created by Harrison and Parker, with the earliest entries dating all the way back to 2012. These videos, usually starring the duo in all variety of wigs, personas, and weird masks and makeup, run the gamut of all manner of comic surreal sketches. The duo draw dad's ire by climbing up little hills, impersonate errant knights and subject us to uncanny creepypasta animations, backed by casiotone jingles. The effect of taking in their work produced over the past decade is to suspend yourself in an earlier era of the culture of the internet, a pre-google youtube that existed…
