Roberta Friedman & Grahame Weinbren: Eight Films 1976-2026 (That's Fifty Years)

We are pleased to present a selection of films by longtime Millennium Film Workshop contributors Grahame Weinbren and Roberta Friedman. Weinbren, Editor-in-Chief of Millennium Film Journal, and Friedman, a filmmaker and member of Millennium Film Workshop's Board of Directors, have each played an important role in shaping Millennium's artistic community over many decades. 

This program is the third installment in MFW60, a new screening series commemorating the 60th anniversary of Millennium Film Workshop, founded in 1966 by Ken and Flo Jacobs. The series highlights filmmakers from across Millennium's six-decade history, inviting them to revisit works that were created at, developed through, or premiered at the Workshop, while placing them in dialogue with Millennium's ongoing mission and current home in Bushwick.

Beginning in 2026, MFW60 serves as a preview of a major week-long screening series at MoMA celebrating the work of artists whose practices have been shaped by Millennium Film Workshop…
