Bildungsafrican
Bildungsafrican is a play on the literary genre of “Bildungsroman”. The program explores our formative years and early 20s through the lens of four rising Black filmmakers including: Zoë Hodge, Philip Thompson, Devin Powell and Adesola Thomas. Bildungsafrican touches upon central themes of social alienation, interdependence, intergenerational trauma and Black relationships..
