Exploding Cinema x Millennium - Transatlantic Crossover!

Exploding Cinema is a screening collective that emerged from the underground art squat scene in 1991. Self organised, Exploding Cinema runs open access nights of short film, underground cinema, artists moving image and performance art. Active constantly since 1991, Exploding Cinema regularly screens underground film in squats, pubs, clubs, cafes and halls across the UK and around the world. Fighting against industry elitism, we’ve shown more than five thousand low or no budget films/videos, and staged shows in disused factories, office blocks, circus tents, churches and in the deep end of a squatted Lido. Radically anti-curatorial, at Exploding Cinema anyone can screen their film, anyone can join the collective. With an ethos that aligns so neatly with our own, we're proud to announce a transatlantic crossover program sharing work between our two organizations, sending Exploding Cinema some of the best films recent Millennium Film Workshop has to offer, and bringing the work…
