Chariot Year Music Video Release

Experimental video and performance artist Erica Schreiner has released a new VHS-shot music video for “Chariot Year,” a track from Between Worlds, the collaborative album by Brooklyn-based musicians Leslie Graves (Endless Arrows, GOLD) and Toby Goodshank (The Moldy Peaches, The Pizza Underground).

“Chariot Year” translates the duo’s dreamlike folk-rock into a vivid allegory, tapping into the symbolism of the Chariot tarot card. Painted seas, dripping paint, and cardboard shields invite us into a childlike, optimistic world of a hand-painted blue-green ocean and shimmering fabric. Intimate and ritualistic performance bridges music and film, reminding us that “every heart has you too.”

After the music video premiere, we will watch a collection of other music videos by filmmakers: Erica Schreiner, Jessica Parnell, Cat Tassini, Polina West + Geraldo Mercado, Preston Spurlock, Anna Schnabel and Joe Wakeman

And following the screening Leslie Graves and Toby Goodshank perform a short set.
