Please join us for a film screening featuring the work of two artists Silvi Naçi and Fadl Fakhouri. Both films, Vala e Harkut and Freedom of Movement explore themes of queerness, transgression, and the body politic. Naçi’s film features Lali, one of the last Burrnesha, a trans-masculine/third gender existing in Albania since before the 15th century. Fakhouri’s film posits questions about “choreopolicing” and dance as rebellion, from the imperialist core to the resistance front.

This screening is a fundraiser for Palestine.
