EQUIPMENT ACCESS SERVICES

SCREENING ROOMS
Three spaces are available to media artists, including the main screening room. 16mm, S8mm projectors with optical and magnetic sound are set up for use. Large screen video projection is also available. The main screening room is available for DVD, Mini-DV, videotape, 16mm, and S8. Multi-screen, multi-media and slide projection are also possible.

FILM EDITING
Several rooms are available for editing in 16mm and S8mm. In addition there are two 6 plate Steenbeck Editing Consoles. A variety of editing equipment and supplies are on hand.

FINAL CUT PRO EDITING
A suite for Final Cut Pro Editing is available for use by members and non-members. Call 212-673-0090 for more details.

OPTICAL PRINTING
Qualified individuals can use a J-K Optical Printer which is setup in a specially designed room, which includes an editing table, rewinds and necessary supplies. The machine has the capability for making 16mm to 16mm, S8mm to 16mm and R8mm to 16mm master prints.

EQUIPMENT LOAN PROGRAM
A wide variety of film/video production equipment can be rented by workshop members. This inclues 16mm and S8mm cameras, Mini-DV camcorders, tripod, light kits, tape recorders and lenses. Slide projectors are also available for rent.

FEES
MEMBERSHIP FEE: $20.00 (Six Months), $30.00 (One Year)
MONTHLY EQUIPMENT ACCESS FEE: $25.*

*Both fees are necessary for use of facilities and equipment for off-premises use. Non-members can rent most equipment in-house on an hourly basis.

STEENBECK EDITING CONSOLE, J-K OPTICAL PRINTER & ANIMATION STAND. Rental Fee: $5.00 per hour, $6.50 per hour for non-members

SCREENING ROOM. Rental of large screening room is available to members and non-members. Our cinema is a convenient, spacious, and flexible environment suitable for screenings, discussions, and socializing. We provide staff to handle any technical needs, who are more than happy to assist you in making your event a success. Millennium's space includes a reception/gallery area and the main screening room (50" x 75" with risers seating 100). We extend our mission statement of affordability and accessibility to our space rental services, offering discount rates for non-profit and non-commercial groups and events.
